New Players

Fly By Disc Golf welcomes all new players and children! There will be several complete "loaner" disc bags available for new players and juniors to use. Experienced and friendly staff are on site and eager to help out new disc golfers. Don't worry if you don't know the rules or don't have any discs. Just come by and have a good time!

There is a huge practice area with several baskets available. Spend some time shooting with different discs before heading out onto the course without any pressure. This is a good chance to handle different discs in person, feel the effects of different weights and profiles, and see what you might want to add to your bag.

Saturday there will be several experienced disc golf players on site to help you learn the ropes. New player group classes will be taking place every hour, on the hour in the putting area. These classes are 15-20 minutes long and a great, interactive way to get introduced to the basic rules of the game, the different types of discs, how to throw, and more! Even if you have never touched a disc before in your life, you will leave this lesson ready to hit the course and start sinking some shots!

Complimentary loaner disc packs are available for use for new players and available for purchase if you fall in love with them out on the course. There will be a good number of sets (hopefully more than enough) available, however, they are first come, first serve.

We Need Your Help!

Society For The Protection Of New Hampshire ForestsThis is a charity event and we need your help! Fly By Disc Golf was founded with a primary purpose of obtaining and preserving access to public and private lands for responsible recreation. We support this cause through providing incredible events like this one and working with partners like Alnoba who share a commitment to nature and the outdoors. By participating in this event you are directly helping to preserve access to outdoor recreation spaces. All proceeds from this event are going towards The Society For The Protection Of New Hampshire Forests. The Forest Society has protected over 1 million acres of land in NH since it's inception in 1901. https://forestsociety.org/

Protecting New Hampshire's landscapes has been the driving force behind the Forest Society since it began in 1901. Their land conservation ethic is deeply rooted in protecting the state's most important landscapes while promoting the wise use of its renewable natural resources. Maintaining this balance has made the Forest Society one of the most effective land conservation organizations in the country, partnering with public agencies, communities, and private landowners to protect over one million acres in our first century.

In the next quarter century, their mission is to protect an additional one million acres of the state's most significant lands. In the face of growing development pressures, we believe the need to preserve the landscapes that shape New Hampshire's quality of life has never been greater.
